Triund and the Snow Line Cafe Day Hike

Distance: 19.7km, ↗: 2125m, ↘: 2125m

This is a long and reasonably strenuous walk to Triund and onwards to the Snow Line Cafe above 10,000 feet. Don’t attempt it in snowy conditions. A pair of walkers died one of the years I was in McLeodganj, so don’t overestimate your abilities.

Triund is the saddle at 627570m, 3570245m on the map where there is a Shiva Shrine marked. You could turn round here, but I continued on to the Snow Line Cafe (which may or may not be open). It wasn’t when I was there.
