Helambu Trek Day 1: Sundarijal to Chisapani

I took a taxi from Boudhanath, where I had been admiring the Stupa, to the bus stop in Sundarijal where the Helambu Trek begins. The route climbs steadily for just over seven kilometers before descending a couple of hundred meters to Chisapani, where there are several hotels.

This part of Nepal was badly affected by the 2015 earthquake which happened after my visit, so the route I took may not be possible now. Check locally to make sure.
