North Coast Loop Walk

Distance: 15.2km, ↗: 140m, ↘: 140m

This walk starts and finishes outside the Intermarché supermarket in Sagres. It passes through some residential streets before heading north, eventually reaching an unfinished housing development. It’s not very beautiful, but is an interesting folly.

The route continues northwards until it reaches the coast, where there are spectacular views. From there the route goes inland before turning south towards Sagres, passing through a sandy forest (where I came across some wild daffodils) on the way.
